Research prototype — no warranty. AwareLiquid is an open research demo. It is provided "as is", with no guarantees of availability, accuracy, or fitness for any purpose. Do not rely on it for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions.

1. Acceptance

By accessing awareliquid.ai or its API, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms may be updated at any time; continued use constitutes acceptance. Changes are committed to the GitHub repository.

2. Nature of the Service

AwareLiquid (including its M1 and O1 model series) is an open research prototype, not a commercial product or general-purpose AI assistant. It is provided solely for research, evaluation, and educational purposes.

3. No Professional Advice

Nothing generated by AwareLiquid constitutes medical, legal, financial, psychological, or any other professional advice. Do not make decisions affecting your health, safety, finances, or legal rights based on outputs from this demo. Always consult a qualified professional.

5. No Affiliation with Liquid AI

AwareLiquid is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with Liquid AI, Inc. or any of its products (including LFM, LFM2, or any commercial Liquid AI model). Both projects share a common academic lineage (MIT liquid time-constant networks), but are entirely independent organisations pursuing different research objectives. Any similarity in terminology reflects shared scientific origins, not a business relationship.

6. Intellectual Property

The AwareLiquid codebase is released under the terms specified in the LICENSE file in the GitHub repository. The underlying TinyLlama-1.1B-Chat base model used by the M1 demo is subject to its own license (Apache-2.0); see the model card. The MT-LNN architecture builds on MIT liquid time-constant networks (Hasani et al.), used in accordance with their academic license.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY OF OUTPUTS. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE AWARELIQUID CONTRIBUTORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before resorting to formal proceedings.
